Hi, this is honestly the first good time I've had to post since last time. CJ has been pretty crabby since returning from the big trip. He got spoiled by grandma Kathy's constant attention and now having just ole Mommy around isn't good enough. Plus he has only pooped twice in the last 6 days. That would make anyone crabby, I suppose...Just when we seemed to be getting back to normal, he caught a little bit of a cold. Nothing major, but enough for him to not sleep so well. Nothing that Benadryl couldn't fix...boy that stuff knocks him right out!
CJ has been making some great physical progress lately. He is trying to roll over from his back to his tummy. He needs just a little push to get his head upright. Sometimes I think he is sleeping in his crib for a nap and he suddenly starts crying and I go up there to find him twisted in a pretzel and stuck from trying this stunt unattended. I guess we are skipping the easier roll-over which would be from belly to back...that's too woosy for this kid, gotta get right to the challenging stuff. He is playing on his belly a lot now and grabbing for toys and wiggling around a lot. I fear his immobile days are numbered. Finally, CJ has recently been awarded a black belt in the marshal art of Taepulloutafistfullofmommy'shairbeforesheknowswhathitherkwando.
We have also started feeding him baby cereal and wouldn't ya know it, he LOVES the stuff. He lurches at the spoon when it is in front of him and gets mad if we don't shovel it in there fast enough. What a surprise :) Next we're gong to try some pears out of the jar.
We weighed our little lard on our neighbor's scale the other day and it said just over 18lbs. Well, maybe about a pound of it is poop since he hasn't gone in about 4 days now...But rest assured that he is still on track to be able to beat all the other kids up in school...:) If CJ stays asleep for a while longer I will maybe be able to get that Xmas photo album functioning today. Look for it on the right hand side of the site. Talk to you soon!

Wow, I haven't check in for a while. His looks are really changing. Man, once they start rolling over, all kinds of fun stuff starts happening each day. Enjoy!
